Celebrate Ethiopian New Year - 7 Dishes with Tessa

Ethiopian New Year is celebrated in September and is one of the most important holidays of the year. Now Tessa invites you to join us — around a table full of traditional food, stories and warmth.

Tessa is the chef who for several years gilded the evenings at Klubb Addis at the Oceanens Kulturhus in Stigberg Square with vegetarian Ethiopian stews, injera and Ethiopian coffee ceremony. Now she brings her family and her food culture to GBG Matstudio for an evening that feels as much like a celebratory dinner at someone's home as an event.

Dinner is served family style — seven dishes in large platters shared by everyone at the table. Tessa and the family cook and talk about the feast and Ethiopian food culture. You just need to come with appetite and curiosity.

Expect more than just dinner. The evening is woven together by food, stories about the culture and music that sets the right emotion.
