General Terms and Conditions Customers

Food Fest Gothenburg offers both tickets for free activities and activities that require ticket purchase. By purchasing a ticket for yourself or someone else to one of the activities offered by us, you agree to our current Terms and Conditions (2025-06-01).

Conditions of Tickets

  • Every customer of an event must hold a valid ticket.

  • Tickets are procured through Understory A/S and ticket purchases are handled through the payment service Stripe.

  • You will receive a booking confirmation to the email you provided. Please check that the information on the booking confirmation is correct. If they don't, contact us at [info@foodfest.se](mailto: info@foodfest.se).

  • The booking confirmation is your ticket to the booked event.

  • The rules of the Distance Act regarding direct purchase do not apply to event tickets and thus purchased tickets cannot be exchanged or repurchased.

  • Purchased ticket cannot be redeemed. The Distance Act rules on the right of withdrawal do not apply to the purchase of event tickets.

  • Repurchase occurs only in case of canceled activity.

  • The ticket is a deed of value. Lost tickets can only be replaced if the customer has provided their name and contact details in connection with the booking.

  • The ticket may be transferred to another person, unless it is stated on the website and/or on the ticket that it is personal.

  • Tickets may not be resold or otherwise used for commercial purposes. Tickets may also not be offered in competitions without the written consent of Food Fest Gothenburg. If these regulations are violated, Food Fest Gothenburg has the right to cancel the ticket (s).

  • Food Fest Gothenburg reserves the right to cancel reservations or purchases that violate the terms and conditions. This applies, among other things, if the customer books or buys more tickets than allowed, buys tickets for commercial use or tampers with a ticket.

  • Tickets that are handled incorrectly and bookings made incorrectly may be voided.

  • Food Fest Gothenburg reserves the right to refuse bookings to a customer with immediate effect if the customer tries to circumvent the ticket conditions

Cancelled, changed, or moved activities

  • Food Fest Gothenburg reserves the right to change, move or cancel events in the event of illness or other event outside Food Fest Gothenburg's control (including but not limited to natural disaster, war, serious spread of infection, government action, accident of a larger scale or comparable event)

  • Food Fest Gothenburg is under no obligation to give notice of change in advance, but will contact affected customers as far as possible.

  • You are responsible for checking that an event is not cancelled or moved.

  • An event is considered canceled if it is not carried out at all. Changes to the content, partially completed event or the like do not constitute a cancelled event.

  • In case of cancelled events, tickets will be repurchased within 30 days, to the bank account you used to make your purchase.

Pressure Error

  • We reserve the right to avoid any printing errors in calendars, printed matter, in social media and on websites.
  • Details of events, prices, discounts, ticket release dates and ticket purchase conditions are subject to change without notice.

Privacy, Security and Personal Data

  • When you purchase a ticket with us, you agree that we store and use your data in accordance with applicable law.
  • The register may contain personal data such as name, postal address, telephone number and e-mail addresses, as well as delivery, payment and purchase details in the case of purchases.
  • Food Fest Gothenburg will share relevant information with the organizer of the event you purchased a ticket for.
  • According to the General Data Protection Regulation, upon request, you have the right to access the information we have registered about you.
  • We reserve the right to use your email to send information.
  • It may happen that we photograph or film in connection with our events. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you agree that names, images and footage from the activity may be used in various communication channels for Food Fest Gothenburg, without requiring any special compensation. You can contact us at any time and object to us using photos and interviews with you for marketing purposes.

Miscellaneous

  • Food Fest Gothenburg and the organiser reserve the right to reject people who disrupt an event.
  • If you are dissatisfied with something during the event, please contact the organizer of the event in the first place. Then also contact Food Fest Gothenburg: [info@foodfest.se](mailto: info@foodfest.se).
  • Food Fest Gothenburg accepts no responsibility for any damage caused to you while participating in activities. We are not responsible for forgotten clothes etc.
