Visit the fishing port in Gothenburg

Join us among the fish boxes and call out at Göteborgs Fiskauktion. You get to follow a piece of the seafood's path from water to table in a historically important place for the city. During the tour, the group will learn about both common and unusual food fish. If you are lucky, you may be met by a fishing boat at the quay that landed catch during the night.
Since 1910, the Gothenburg Fish Auction has been a central part of providing Göteborgs with fresh fish and seafood. Every weekday morning, fishmongers and fish wholesalers gather to see what catch is on offer. The visit ends with a moment of relaxation in the heat, with hot drinks and cake, as well as a short presentation about the fishing harbour.
