Inaugural dinner - Food Fest Gothenburg 2026

Food Fest Gothenburg opens the festival with a joint dinner — and you're invited.
The evening offers a communal long table outdoors (but under cover) on Ringön, with local flavours and cultural elements woven into the dinner. The food is served largely on large platters shared by everyone at the table -- a mix of Mexican, Syrian and Ukrainian flavors from some of the city's most exciting food players.
Important! Bring your own plate, glasses, cutlery and drinks. It will be a blissful mix — and that's exactly the point. Dress according to the weather - even if the event is under cover, it is outdoors.
Guests are welcome from 17:00 when a pre-drink and other items are served. First meal will be served at 6pm so please make sure to be in good time!
