What happens when West Africa's food heritage meets West Coast produce? This evening you will get the answer.
LINKS FOOD, Tilda's Pepper Pot and J-AID Consult invite you to a seven-course dinner where African flavors, traditional spices and artisanal cooking techniques meet local produce.
The journey begins with deviled eggs and pepper sauce, continues through spicy buns, cool sobolo sorbet and pumpkin fritters -- and lands in the evening's main course: a peanut-based pumpkin soup with fish, chicken or tofu and rice balls. The ending? Plantain cake with caramelized peanut croquant and coffee.
An Afro-Swedish fusion that neither compromises its origins nor turns a blind eye to the place we are in. And more than just food — between dishes, the evening's food creators weave storytelling, music and dance into the experience.
