Family Saturday at Lilla Ängården (drop-in)

Do you want to know how a family lived, ate and farmed in the 19th century in central Gothenburg? Welcome to a family day at Lilla Ängården, formerly owned by the Grén family!
*Please note: this event is drop-in only, it is not possible to pre-book a place. You only need to book if you want to receive a reminder before the event. * For those who have not yet discovered Lilla Änggården, it is a great opportunity to take a walk around the garden history and get an insight into the green history of Lilla Änggården. On this day there will also be extra focus on food and local food and even accustomed visitors will find unimaginable discoveries. For example, you can go on a tour of the cultivation and have the opportunity to taste the harvest prepared on site. For younger visitors, there will be mystery to solve! If the weather permits, we recommend bringing a picnic and blanket and settling into the grass. You can taste the must that is made on site. The must is made from fruit from Lilla Änggården and from fruit groves in the city. All outdoor activities are free of charge.
